Review of ‘The Initiation’ Book 1
Another surprise that I received in the mail from Class Comics recently was Book 1 of ‘The Initiation’, which is all about ‘Higher Sex Education’…
After reading ‘The Initiation’ a few things occurred to me: Firstly the obvious; that this is the stuff of college fantasies – if only it were this much fun! The second thing that came to mind was that ‘The Initiation’ would make a cool animated porn flick. Or at the very least, a hot live action porn flick.
The story: It’s Alex’s first year away from home and it certainly will be a memorable one with sex crazed campus hotties. Spandex clad rollerblading hotties and a football team with overcharged hormones tend to make for hot opportunities on the Horndale Hills campus.
It’s hard to focus on studies while your hot roommate gets it on with the football team! Fortunately Alex finds a tutor who is willing to pull all-nighters… and discovers that his Prof gives credit for “extracurricular activities” when his grades start to fall.
Things really heat up when the final pledge night begins for the fraternity Zeta Mega Phallus. Alex will do anything necessary to come out on top of the fraternity pledge initiation!
Overall, I thought that ‘The Initiation’ was both amusing and hot. Robert Fraser has written an erotic version of freshman year that was the stuff of my dreams when I was contemplating what to do after high school graduation. And Joseph Hawk has done a wonderful job of illustrating this story with a look that’s in keeping with the college / frat boy theme.

Review of Zahn - Book 1
I got a surprise in the mail the other day, Zahn Book #1 from Class Comics.
As I quickly paged through this gay comic book, I was struck by how the illustrations gave me the impression that this was a Conan the Barbarian type of story. When I actually sat down to read Zahn, it was then that I discovered that this was no mere coincidence. Patrick Fillion, the writer and illustrator of this erotic gay tale notes in the introduction that when he was a kid he loved Conan the Barbarian and Masters of the Universe, and that Zahn was inspired by these childhood memories.
The story of Zahn takes place in the Great Land of Varda, a place where powerful beasts, ancient magic and horny barbarians rule the land.
When we meet Zahn, he’s off on a vision quest; but it turns out that somewhere along the way, Zahn’s memory has been stolen by a dark magic connected to the evil that is ravaging his land.
However new memories surface that indicate that he holds within a tremendous power which could annihilate him if he doesn’t learn how to control it.
Our sexy hero must stop the evil destroying Varda, make some new allies, and discover his own destiny… or lose everything!
I found this book to be beautifully illustrated and the tale both fascinating and sexy. I must confess that the ending took me quite by surprise – how Fillion is going to explain that one in book two, I just don’t know. Regardless, it looks like the adventures of Zahn are off to a very good start and that there’s more interesting and sexy tales to be told.

My Introduction to Rainbow Country
Rainbow Country #2, from Class Comics is another gay erotic comic book that I recently got a chance to read. I haven’t read Rainbow Country #1 so I was going into the midst of this story kind of blind.
The best way that I can describe Rainbow Country is that it’s a gay erotic soap opera. That’s how it struck me. It’s got a kaleidoscope of hot imagery coupled with a number of interesting story lines.
Basically David, a male nurse has gone from the arms of Frank to those of his sexy black co-worker. But David dreams of being more than a tramp and tries to find a way to convince his lover, and himself, that he deserves some respect. But there’s also pent up drama at the hospital where he works…
Meanwhile, Mark gets to know Philippe a little better… and it’s clear that the two men have a strong connection! But where does this leave Frank? How will the slutty doctor take to Mark’s new porn star friend?
But the sex and drama doesn’t stop there; because interspersed among all this there’s also a waiter serving up sex in a dungeon, sexy dream sequences of man-on-man orgies and even a porn video in the midst of all this. And in this issue at least there seems to be an obsession with large groups of black studs fucking the daylights out of submissive white boys.
Written and illustrated by Max’, the Rainbow Country series looks like an interesting gay erotic soap opera comic book that I could really get addicted to.

Toons I’d Luv to Fuck!

Batman vs. Robin: Although I like the boy wonder’s costume, I make it a point not to have sex with anyone who has the same name as me.
SpongeBob Squarepants vs. Patrick (his dopey starfish pal): Ummm, definitely SpongeBob – he’s just so squeezable.

Hot Devilry Afoot in DEIMOS!
When I heard that there was a new gay erotic comic called DEIMOS, from Class Comics, I knew that it would probably be hot, but I didn’t know if I would personally enjoy it. I however kept an open mind about it.
Well, I finally got the chance to read this new comic — here’s a few quick thoughts that I have about it:
The classic Good Vs Evil struggle with angels and demons battling for supremacy including sexual supremacy is brought to vivid life in this sexy and fascinating tale.
In addition to the hotly rendered art work the story looks like it’s got some intriguing twists along the way.
In book one of DEIMOS, we find that Cardinal, Deimos’ guardian angel, has been captured by an evil cult who once worshipped Deimos, in his heyday as a demon of Hell. The cult plans to sacrifice Cardinal and will stop at nothing to return Deimos to his old, wicked ways.
And speaking of the wicked… Just who are the ‘good guys’ and who are the ‘bad guys’? There seems to be traitors in both heaven and hell. The battleground and ’sexground’ for this story – earth. Yes, there’s lots of sex in this tale.
Patrick Fillion and Logan have come up with one hell of a sexy story.
All in all, DEIMOS Book 1 is off to a very fine start. I highly recommend it for anyone that’s interested in gay comic books.
