Coming to TV: Everything You Wanted To Know About Gay Porn Stars
LOS ANGELES, CA — here! America’s premium gay and lesbian television network is pleased to announce the brand new series Everything You Wanted To Know About Gay Porn Stars *but were afraid to ask. The series will make its debut on the network in the winter and will consist of six 30-minute episodes and a one-hour special.
The series, directed by John Roecker (Live Freaky! Die Freaky!), will take us on a behind-the-scenes look at the lives of some of gay adult cinema’s hottest talents. Among the current and former porn stars featured on the series will be Johnny Hazzard, Brad Benton, Nick Capra, Jason Hawke, Nick Piston and Jason Ridge. The series is also Executive Produced by Chris Panizzon (Shelter) and features music by Tim Armstrong and Rancid.
“In Everything You Wanted To Know About Gay Porn Stars *but were afraid to ask, I interviewed sixteen men that perform in gay porn and asked them what makes them tick. This is their forum and their voice. When I spoke to these men, I wanted to know what their parents thought, how they got into the industry and what their ultimate goals were. I found them incredibly bright, sensitive and inspiring,” says Roecker.
Topics covered in these revealing interviews include the impact of drugs on the industry, the dangers behind unprotected sex, depression, and the stigmas and drawbacks one must cope with when starring in the gay porn industry. Despite these very serious topics, the show manages to show us the lighter sides of these hunky entertainers, some of whom have very interesting and uplifting stories to tell.

The New Gay Bum Links
One of my other sites, Gay Bum Links is turning 4 in October. I had planned to re-design that site, closer to its anniversary; but I managed to do it ahead of schedule. This is the 3rd version that site has gone through in four years.
Gay Bum Links has a nice new look, there’s a few extra goodies and I’ve done another purge of sites, (took out more dead links and took out more sites that were up to odd things, etc…)
There’s still loads of sites though. In addition to adding more sites, (I’m always updating) there’s plenty of great gay websites to find in a variety of categories and sub-categories. There’s all sorts of ’society’ or ‘community sites’ and of course there’s a good selection, (made even better by the purge) of gay porn sites that I know some of you will be more interested in…
