I’ve Read Brother to Dragons!
I just finished reading the first book of a brand new gay erotic comic book series called Brother to Dragons. The comic book is written by François Peneaud, the artwork is by Carlos García and it’s being distributed by Class Comics.
Brother to Dragons is a gay erotic tale that takes place in the Middle Ages in a land where dragons are worshipped and hot steaming sex between men is not only a regular occurrence but a divine aspect of worship.
The story in book one introduces us to a farm boy named Alaï who’s off to ‘the big city’ to work for his uncle, who happens to have a son who has had previous ‘encounters’ with Alaï. Alas, Rano (the cousin) seems to be on the str8 and narrow these days.
But that’s OK for Alaï, because along the way he’s met up with Jiky, a bearish coachman who loves lots of man sex and who has his eye on Alaï for more than one purpose… And then there’s always the interesting church with its sexy priests and ‘room of blessings’…
When I first heard about Brother to Dragons coming out, I was mildly intrigued. Now that I’ve actually read it, I can’t wait to find out what happens next! The story is interesting, the art is hot and I think this gay comic book series is off to a really good start.
