Task Force and Leather Community Unite for Red, White & Leather 2

The National Gay and Lesbian Task Force and Michael Egdes, International Mr. Leather 2005, are hosting Red, White & Leather 2 over the July 4th weekend to support the work of the Task Force.

Red, White & Leather 2 events are being held at bars nationwide in the U.S.A..

“Red, White & Leather 2 is not only a fund-raiser, but also a wonderful vehicle for communicating the Task Force’s desire to work hand-in-hand with the leather community,” said Egdes, chair of Red, White & Leather 2.

Last year, bars from Anchorage to Key West did everything from donating their cover charge to holding a raffle to selling a specialty drink and succeeded in raising nearly $5,000 to support the Task Force’s work of building lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender political power from the ground up.

The Task Force works in close cooperation with those in the leather community.
