“We are delighted to be adding such a respected brand, and we are really looking forward to forming a long and successful partnership” with Alexander Pictures, said Pulse Distribution co-founder Mark Hamilton.
Alexander said he is proud to establish the business relationship with Pulse because of the company’s high standard of movies it distributes.
“I believe that my ethnic-themed movies will broaden Pulse’s brand, which now features more Caucasian-related movies,” Alexander said.
Alexander Pictures is proud to feature exotic places and models in all of its adult films. The San Diego-based company does live shoots throughout South America. That includes “Arabian Tales,” which will debut on April 23, and “Jungle Cruisers 2,” set to swing into stores on May 21.
Both follow the successful and highly popular “Arabian Men”, “Arabian Men 2” and “Jungle Cruisers”.
Five other Alexander Pictures films are promised in 2007. Details on release dates and titles are expected to be announced soon.
Taboos in Gay Black Porn
Are there any taboos in gay porn? You betcha! In fact, get a bunch of gay porn producers and webmasters together discussing some of those taboos and things can get pretty ugly quick. Actually, that would be true too if you got a bunch of porn fans/surfers together to discuss the topic or specific taboo topics. I just don’t usually hang out in the later types of forums and places. But on occassion I have run into those types of surfer discussions.
One of the taboos that doesn’t get discussed very much or at least in the circles I travel in are the taboos in gay black porn.
A few years back, I stumbled upon a gay black leatherman’s website. He had won some sort of leatherman award, I think he was Mr. Leatherman U.S.A. at the time actually. And quite honestly, until I had come across him I hadn’t really given much thought to what types of taboos such a man like him might be engaging in or lines that he was crossing. It quickly became clear though that he was indeed fighting an uphill battle of sorts because one of his goals was to be a spokesman for other gay black men who might have the same sort of kinky desires as he did.
For some reason this all came back to me the other day as I was watching and reviewing some porn videos. There were a couple of scenes in one video that could be considered taboo by some. So it got me to thinking about the various taboos in gay porn. And for some reason it got me to thinking specifically about taboos in gay black porn, (for lack of a better term btw…).
Take spanking for instance…controversial and taboo at the best of times. But until I happened to see Hot Hands Black Ass #2 on the shelves, it never occurred to me that such a title would exist. Its the first Black Spanking movie I’ve run into and off hand I can’t even think of seeing a website that featured Black spanking videos or photos.
And then there’s bondage…Now there’s something I haven’t seen much of — Black Bondage. I’ve seen I think a couple of photo sets and a couple of video clips.
Once again, bondage is one of those tickleish subjects; even in the “white gay community”. In the “black gay community” though, it doesn’t take much imagination to guess that both bondage and spanking have the additional bad connection to thoughts of the slave days.
And yet, its obvious that there are some guys who do enjoy that type of kink.
No moral conclusions from me — these are highly personal things that you need to decide for yourself. My only conclusion really is that if this is “your thing” or kink then it is indeed available and there are others out there that share it with you.
It Must Be Spring…
Even if I didn’t have my Boys will be Boys calendar from Joe Phillips, to refer to and was totally unaware of the season changes I’d still know it was Spring time…
Every Spring is marked by a flurry of activity on the web. Porn site owners are waking up from the Winter and pumping out the updates and in some cases they’re waking up to the fact that they need to remind us all that they still exist. Which is a good thing for you and a good thing for porn bloggers because there’s some cool and hot stuff coming out. (New sites, new movies, new content…)
Another thing that I find is always a true mark of Spring on the web is the “Spring cleaning” that I inevitably find myself immersed in.
This past week I’ve been kept quite busy taking down links and content for sites that are changing hands, being sold off, or plain old disappearing off the face of the web. I’ve been doing this at both my porn and my mainstream websites. But that’s OK I guess, as it makes room for the new and the fresh.
Speaking of which, yesterday I got a stack of DVDs from Gino Pictures. I’m looking forward to watching and reviewing those for a variety of reasons. Keep your eyes peeled for those as I’ll be posting about those movies in the very near future.
When all is said and done, I think this Spring is shaping up to be quite good.
