Fuck, Shit, Dammit — I have a Fucking Headache!
Yes, thanks to the U.S. Senate I have a huge, throbing, fucking headache! I’m not the only one though.
I’ve been trying to make heads or tails out of the U.S. Senate’s latest crusade to kill off small business people like myself.
It’s called the “Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act of 2006″ the new and “improved” name for a peice of legislation that’s been around for some time.
In this legislation, there is a section known as 2257. You may have heard of that last year. Its basically an onerous record keeping bill with alot of nasty repercussions for those who fail to adhere to this law.
This legislation or bill was passed by the senate on Thursday and George Bush is expected to sign it this coming Thursday, July 27th.
In the mainstream press thus far any reporting on this bogus bill is mainly concentrating on the aspects that your average person is probably going to agree with.
For instance they’ve put in the new version of this bill, the creation of a national sex offender registry, more funding for law enforcement, tougher sentances for child molesters, a law against the selling of “date rape” drugs, etc…
And then you get to the ammended version of U.S.C. Title 18, Section 2257 in this bill; which by the way, was ammended before it was voted on because Hollywood got wind of it.
Hollywood doesn’t feel that they should have to keep the same records that porn producers and secondary porn producers do. Nor, do they feel that they should be penalized in the same way as a porn producer would be if they were to be investigated or busted.
I don’t blame them though it’s a pile of Bull Shit!
What else is there?…Oh yes, the targeting of deceptive ’sex’, (porn) sites…
Anyone who includes misleading words or images intended to confuse a minor into viewing a possibly harmful Web site could be imprisoned for up to 20 years and fined.
So, if I use the words “Barbie” or “Furby” as the article at c|net News suggests, I could be in serious shit.
That’s fucking ludicrous! Censorship is what that is. And damn hard to avoid. (Well maybe I can avoid using “Furby” or “Furbies” — Fuck too late.)
Fortunately I am a Canadian and live and work in Canada but I get the feeling these days that if they want you bad enough the goons will come and snatch you from off the streets wherever in the world you are.
Oh, there’s more my friends, way more, I haven’t even touched the tip of the iceberg on this one…

Jumping the Gun on Stonewall & Riot DVD Release
Yes, contrary to what you might have seen on most online stores, everyone is jumping the gun on the release date of Joe Phillips‘ latest movie, Stonewall & Riot.
Amazon has the Stonewall & Riot DVD listed as having been released on June 20th, 2006, TLA Video says on their site that it will be released on August 25th.
Neither of them are correct and unfortunately neither is anyone else that’s featuring the DVD as if it were available right now. A little confusing I think.
When I saw all the weird release dates, I decided to go to Joe Phillips‘ site and see what I could learn.
I read on his blog that he and his brother Lex were still teamed up, (They previously released The House of Morecock DVD), and that they were currently in post production until August.
So, I decided to email Joe and make sure that the blog entry was still correct.
Joe confirmed that their film Stonewall and Riot will indeed be released this October. He also stated that it will be at the duplication manufacturer on September 1st and be out to retailers shortly after that.
Joe then said that, “It’s just a lot of work for mainly 2 animators. What Lex and I did on this picture is what hundreds of people do on a movie like Shrek.”
No complaints from me Joe; I’m really looking forward to this new movie. I wish you and Lex well and hope you guys have a good, long vacation after this. 
For those who like to spend their Pink Bucks with Pink Companies
Every now and then this topic comes up, particularly when there’s an influx of str8 porn companies releasing gay porn sites. In fact a number of gay webmasters have observed that lately quite a number of the gay porn sites launching are by str8 companies.
So, for those who care or are curious…
The vast majority of sites I promote or talk about at this blog are owned and operated by LGBT people.
At my Gay links site, Gay Bum Links, I reckon that at least 99% of the sites I list there are also LGBT owned and operated.
Partially, its because I like to promote within the community. Partially, because some of the sites naturally are indeed owned and operated by LGBT guys and grrrls.
I do include sites that are owned and operated by str8 companies. Some of those companies have gay employees. And some of the sites made by str8 companies are actually good. Just like some “real gay” sites are good, some aren’t.
And lastly, Yes dammit I’m Gay, specifically a Gay Male, (Queerly so), I’m not str8 and I’m not a Lesbian, (although, as I’ve told my Lesbian friends, I don’t mind too much being mistaken for one.)

Outcome of Latest Jackson Trial
A couple of days ago I wrote about the latest bizarre Michael Jackson trial; well here’s the outcome…
Marc Schaffel the “gay porn producer” has been awarded by a California court, $900,000.00 for money that is owed to him by Michael Jackson.
Interestingly enough though, Jackson has been awarded $200,000.00 in a cross complaint.
